Historical Association Kastel from Svetvincenat organizes  the play "Medieval night in the castle."during the summer season.
Performances are held in the castle Morosini-Grimani Vincenti and last about 60 minutes, Â the program includes a medieval tournament, burning witches, interesting competition with firing catapult and fire show - nighttime battle knights with flaming torches. After the show, visitors can make the tour of the castle, with emphasize on the square tower, which offers a beautiful view of the town and an exhibition of replicas of medieval weapons in the gallery Grimani throne inside the palace castle. Show is contributed with stalls of local exhibitors with a variety of products, and visitors can perpetuate their arrival at the photo point presentation or try their hand at archery.
Admission is £ 80 for adults, and for children from 5-12 years 50 kn, children under 5 years have free entry to the show. Come to the show and  experience a short return to the Middle Ages.

It is specific to local feast in honor of the feast of St. Vincent, patron saint of winegrowers that tenants of this region through the centuries mark the beginning of pruning grape vines in their vineyards.
The celebration begins with the blessing of the vineyard which carries a priest. On vine which is symbolically cut, hang the sausages and watered it with a little wine with prayer for fertile year.
Large festivals that are held every day in another place, start with burning st. vincent's fire around which visitors traditionally bake famous vincent's skewer. Winemakers in their wine cellars, as well as the stands organize a wide offer with variety of excellent wines and gastronomy, with the occasional sounds of the tamburitza.

International Percussionist Week is held continuously for 11 years and in the culturaly dry season, the month of January, when Bjelovar becomes a world center of percussion art and certainly the liveliest city in Croatia.
During previous years, more than 450 artists performed - pupils, students and professional groups from France, Brazil, Spain, USA, Slovenia, Argentina, Japan, Germany, Belgium, Taiwan, Austria, Italy, Mexico, Sweden, Korea, Portugal, China , Macedonia, Hungary, Singapore, Bulgaria, Polish, Romania, the Netherlands, Great Britain and of course Croatian, and for the first time this year - from Colombia.
In addition to concerts, festival offers a variety of workshops to give participants the opportunity to acquire knowledge and competence, exchange of experiences, promoting soloists and ensembles, national programs as well as theme nights and encourages cooperation at the festival by organizing joint events through which the fusion of different musical cultures leads to exciting new performance.
The festival encourages the development of new collaborations and ideas, promote tolerance, respectful of others and different, approaches the world of the local level.

Rijeka enters the New Year with carnival festivities - Rijeka Carnival 2015!
To the delight of all those who live for Rijeka’s “fifth season of the yearâ€, it’s time for the Rijeka Carnival! Having taken a short break after the Christmas and New Year’s celebrations, Rijeka is ready to jump into its craziest period, when the Christmas lights in the city centre are replaced with colourful carnival ribbons and when everybody gets to be whomever they want, even if only for a short time. The Carnival begins on the Day of Saint Anthony with the raising of the Pust, the carnival doll that will be burned along with all the troubles of the previous year. However, before this happens at the end of the carnival, we have to put on our masks, choose the new Carnival Queen, give the masks the keys to the city, take part in the masked car rally, go snowboarding by the sea, do a lot of singing and dancing, go to all the concerts and parties both in Rijeka and other nearby towns, take part in the carnival parades or watch them as they go through the city centre… Only after all of this is done can the carnival flag be lowered, marking the end of yet another carnival season in Rijeka. Until then: be what you want – come to the Rijeka Carnival!
